拡張子「.jbig」 - ジェイビグ（File Extension .jbig）

JBIG（Joint Bi-level Image Experts Group）が策定した静止画圧縮方式で圧縮された画像ファイルにつく拡張子。

可逆圧縮方式。

なお、JBIG（Joint Bi-level Image Experts Group）は、JPEG（Joint Photographic Experts Group）のサブグループで、本フォーマットも「ISO/IEC国際規格11544」「ITU-T勧告T.82」として規格化されている。
